Now listen we got this is this this is the other than you you know what? This is the worst week of football forever. That week when when they stopped you know when they started trying to put the Pro Bowl in between yes. The the the Chiefs gave the Super Bowl. Yeah. Because they wanted people to watch the Pro Bowl and then now they they did all that jerky stuff with you know different coaches.

00:01:52
I'm I'm going to tell you right now.

00:01:56
I I want you guys to tell me. I I want you guys to tell me. I want you to be honest. Did you watch any of the Pro Bowl games this weekend. Watched about 5 minutes. Okay. 5 minutes? Yeah. I watched nothing. I the only reason why I watched was because I wanted to put on NFL Network to see like you know their original forward center and the games were on. Yeah. And so it was like yeah. I watched I absolutely zero. So we're really not going to have a conversation about Pro Bowl at all.

00:02:43
But by the way how about this? You know because of all the people that bow out of the Pro Bowl? Uh. Is it mute your mic? Mute mute your mic. Did you mute it? Yes I did. I think we're good now. Amy Amy said Mark was echoing but I think we're good. No. I think it was Steve. Thanks Amy. Yeah thank you. Yeah. Anyways you know because of all the people that bow out you know and they have to have like seven replacements they actually had Tyler Huntley of the Ravens made the Pro Bowl Oh yeah.

00:03:11
With an astounding two touchdowns on the year.

00:03:15
Yeah. Well you know we're upset because they're like well Kenny Pickett was better than him. He should be in. Nobody wants to play flag football. That's the bottom line. Yeah well. Like they had to get they had to get him probably because he probably had some clause in his contract and said if he makes the pro ball he gets like 20, 000 so he probably got paid $20, 000 dollars.

00:03:35
You know what? Flag football. I gotta tell ya. I I I watched absolutely zero of it I had absolutely no curiosity about it whatsoever it the way I see it for me personally if you want to play the Pro Bowl play the Pro Bowl Pro Bowl as a football game I get it for years the ratings were nothing if they have to keep trying to do this garbage just just toss it I just think don't play it just just just award the Pro Bowl you know making the Pro Bowl team so they can get their incentives in their contracts and you know it's a respect you know to know I guess I mean but I if if they did away with it the problem is the NFL always wants to be in the spotlight right so even if it's the dumbest thing ever right they're still getting some play from it like I mean I didn't see a lick of any of the games but I saw a video of Minka trying to catch a dodgeball I saw pictures of right Cam Hayward with the blue man group around him I have no idea what that was right but you know you see these things so right they stay relevant and social media.

00:04:42
And that's all they care about. I'm sure people. I'm sure companies paid for the advertising. Well and that that was my that was my next point. It was that look money is is the king and obviously they were able to get you know sponsors and and advertisers to to to fork over some money and if it's if it's profitable it's profitable. It's fine.

00:05:06
Yeah. Fine. Anything the NFL touches is automatically worth million of dollars. Yeah. Hundreds of millions. It's it's really. So they're not going to get rid of something. And Brad Trombley is in the house again. Hey Brad. Good evening Brad. Thanks for being here. Welcome Brad. Thanks for being here. Great to see you again. Um so let's let's move on to some NFL news.

00:05:26
Let's go to real news. Um once again Antonio Brown is in the spotlight as he should be. Wait I said real news. Apparently James Harrison is the reason that he went insane for his CTE. Uh look guys this thing's been overdone. I I was listening to sports radio the last couple days and they couldn't stop talking about it and all I kept thinking to myself is okay here you go.

00:05:49
Here's here's a subject for you. Typical Pittsburgh sports guys. Right right. Can't stand the fact that they had one of the best receivers was going to end up being had his career panned out. Probably pretty close to the second third second third or maybe first best receiver of all time and is you know we all know what happened and they just can't stop lamenting about it in Pittsburgh.

00:06:16
You know so like I I want to know who's angrier.

00:06:19
Pittsburgh fans or Antonio Brown? Ooh that's a really good question. Finally I get a good question off on this show. Yeah that's a good one. Finally. I I'm going to go with Antonio Brown and here's why.

00:06:32
Pittsburgh fans always forget how good somebody was in the past unless they've won championships. Right. Then they overinflate how good they were. Because they won a right right Antonio Brown won nothing true but yet he was one of the best talents certainly that this town has ever seen for for the period he was here right right so so I think Pittsburgh fans aren't really that angry about it because they've kind of moved on from Antonio Brown because he's moved on from them let's not forget that Antonio Brown left the Steelers the Steelers didn't leave Antonio Brown Steelers actually wanted to keep him.

00:07:17
Okay? And so but I think Antonio Brown is angrier because this guy is broke. He has no talent. He can't do anything the rest of his life. Right. So he has to go backwards in time and make stuff up to become relevant again. And that probably makes him very very angry. Well I think Steelers fans are angry that he's in the spotlight but are happy to talk about it. Right. Right.

00:07:45
I I think that you know if if he could learn or if I I can't put that comment up CD. Uh if he get he was talking about it. Did you see that? At least he did.

00:07:56
Almost put it up. Oh I'm going to get in trouble for that. That could be common. Yeah but so you know where he will make his money is it it when and I heard this I I have to give credit to one of the local radio shows. You know I'll I'll just say it out loud. Ron Cook. He said this would be a good thirty for thirty on ESPN.

00:08:17
Oh yeah. So he'll make his money back for the rights to his story. No He'll make maybe what? Half a million or something? He'll make some money. He's already blown through that. He probably already owes that list for his furniture he threw out the window. Imagine everybody biting their nails when he does this hall of fame speech. Yeah. He's not making the hall of fame.

00:08:36
He's not making that. They yeah they they they talked about that too. No no no. He he wasn't around long enough. There are plenty of other wide receivers that are way in front of him. Well and also his his best five years would probably rival anybody. They do. But do but that was it and then the way he left. There it is right there.

00:08:54
It's just was a disaster. He he also totally quit on two teams. Yeah. And and made and two other teams kicked him out the door. Booted him out as soon as possible. So. Yeah. Uh DG is in the house. Greetings from Palm Beach Gardens. What's up David? Great to see you again. Alright so moving on from the Antonio Brown, James Harrison of course as as Steelers fans, Joe Mixon got in trouble.

00:09:20
Um you know, yay.

00:09:22
I told you, the wheels are falling off the Bengals bus. I love that. I love that. I just love the fact that they're going to going to go, they're going to implode over the next two seasons. Maybe next year, I mean, granted, granted, you know, Mixon is going to play because whoever he threatened violence to suddenly realize that if they go through with it, he's out of football. So, clearly that that Yeah they must have been a Bengals fan.

00:09:52
You know probably with somebody close. I'm sure I'm sure there was a who benefits from the 1012 million each year. I'm sure there was a promise made in seven figures that made them drop the charges. At least seven. Could be. Could be. Yeah. Yep. Yeah. But no doubt. Stranger things have happened. But I mean this is what happens when you know when teams exit before they thought they were going to.

00:10:14
Well and and I think that we have next year's one of next year's Best soundbites. The Wheels are falling off the Bengals as they as they like win their first ten. So we'll we'll see. Alright. Trust me. There are not going to be able to sign a lot of players. They're going to be hurting in the next few years. I and they still have to sign Burrow in the off season which is going to take a huge chunk out of what they do.

00:10:42
Yeah but you you know what guys like Burrow sometimes I'm not saying he will. No he's not. Sometimes you. And and they'll they get a lot of money guaranteed but they sign up they sign a team friendly or cap friendly contract. Patrick Mahomes did that. He could. I think Jamar Chase and Burrow are going to sign for less than 40 million between the two of them.

00:11:06
No. I think Burrow might. The two of them. Jamar Chase. The two of them are going to sign why? I want to hear your first of all. Cuz he's a receiver diva. There you go. Burrow Burrow can easily get thirty and Jamar Chase can easily get twenty. I mean if they sign for less than 40 they're leaving less more than 10 million off the table. It's a lot of money. They're going to have to be up against the cap for a while after it happens.

00:11:35
And it starts with T Higgins this year. They don't actually have to sign either of those guys. They can push them off. But they have to sign T Higgins. T Higgins going to get 15 or 18 million. Yeah well T Higgins can arguably be a number one receiver on another team. And now they're going to have to start this year whether they want to sign T Higgins for 18 million and then have to pay Jamar Chase $25 million in two years and then play Burrow on top of that 35 or 40 million so the wheels are clearly that's a lot of money that's all I'm saying like next year they'll probably be okay I'm a I'm a little ahead of my time somebody knifes the wheels but but the year after that it's going to be a problem alright so you know once again greetings from the Philippines Hey what's up Philippines in the house? Mia.

00:12:22
Okay let's let's move on here to have a little problem with my dog here Sassy. I think she wants to go out. Um let's move on here to the upcoming game. The game of the year. What's coming up? The big game. The big game. Super Bowl what? 5seven. Is it fifty-seven? 5seven. Super Bowl fifty-seven. Uh Chiefs at the Eagles. I think last week or two weeks ago last week. We picked the we picked this game Ryan.

00:12:52
So you know next week we'll go over our picks for the year and see who was good and who was who was bad so Super Bowl picks we're not going to do the actual picks let's talk about the game okay we we have the two number one seeds going at it clearly both of them that I I would say the two best teams in football this year no doubt I think there might have been there might have been some question about Kansas City a little earlier in the year the only Question about Philly earlier in the year was like oh my god look how good they're doing but by the end of the year it became pretty apparent they were the top team in the NFC no doubt so you know you've got some lingering questions and those questions obviously we already got a prediction here from Luke who who joins us from the previous show Google's 37 that would be so yeah so I hope that happens let's let's start let's that would be a lot of fun let's start since we have another sports sports show we launched in Philadelphia for all you people out there listening on other channels Um we're going to start with the Eagles side of the equation for us.

00:14:06
So, Eagles, what are the keys to the game? What are the keys to the game winning them? Schwaver, why don't you start with that? I think the keys to the game are one win the battle in the trenches.

00:14:21
Two part of that is hitting Mahomes early and often the Bengals waited too long to start hitting him and he was hobbling in the second half but he was fine assumingly in the first half and number three I would say is the Eagles run game and the reason why I say that is because the Chiefs are actually decent against the run but they're not very good against the pass so I think there could be a you know that there could be a a thinking towards let's throw the ball on them but of course the more you throw the ball the more mistakes can happen and I think you want to keep the ball out of Mahomes hands have long nine you know nine minute drives and keep Mahomes off the field so those will be my three I'll disagree a little bit with some of that I actually think I agree the line of scrimmage is going to be key for both teams like if if neither team can get to either quarterback I think that helps Kansas City than it helps the Eagles but I think the Eagles running game is very important but I don't I don't think they actually need to like take long drives to do things the Eagles are based on quick strike they've always been that way so I think if the Eagles can do that meaning score two or three touchdowns like before Kansas City knew what hit them I think that's going to that's going to be a big win now that doesn't happen to happen at the beginning of the game but I think it has to happen before half time in order to give them some confidence and then they can get to their running game because they're very good at running the game later and they can run the ball either with Samuel or it hurts it doesn't really matter who they run the ball with as long as they're playing ball control after that I think they'll be okay but I think it really comes down to mistakes I think if if Jalen Hertz is overwhelmed by the spectacle of the Super Bowl if any of the if any of the Eagles are like overwhelmed by you know that whole you know I'm not I'm not I don't agree with some of the pundits are out there saying that the Eagles have never played a close game they've never played a tough game I think that's **** I think when you're playing the NFL you're playing you're playing against good teams a lot throughout the year the Eagles were just vastly better than most of those teams and I think they can do the same against the Kansas City defense because I don't actually think the Kansas City defense is that good but but if they can get to Hertz keep them in the pocket make him throw the ball not deep I think that they'll have a better chance of making him make mistakes and I think that's the only way the Chiefs can win this game yeah I I I kind of look at this as I mean I I see your point about how they're a quick strike team and I get it but Mark's point about getting to Mahomes early is is absolutely crucial and it's because he's injured if he was healthy you know that kind of a **** shoot you always want to get to the the quarterback early and as Al Davis used to say the the other team's quarterback must go down and he must go down hard you know they they they would want to get to him early but Mahomes is best when he's improvising and because he's injured and we'll see he he's he has had two more weeks to have and they've got pros working on this stuff the training staff the doctors he's had two weeks now to kind of get that ankle back in shape now generally it takes a little bit longer for those things to heal but I think it's very crucial that they get to him early because even if he is in pretty good shape there's no way that he's not having any pain at all and there's no way that it's not a tender situation and the Eagles as fate would have it are one of the most aggressive defenses invested getting the quarterback now if he proves to be healthy that can be their downfall on defense because he knows how to get a you know he can tuck that ball and run he can improvise so I really think the Eagles keys to the game here are getting to Mahomes as early as possible and putting him on the ground and that way they have to change their game plan and keep him in the now now they now Mahomes they're forced to call plays that get him out of the pocket and it's harder for him and you could see that in the in the championship game he he's still improvised I mean that's the thing he even when he's hurt for still better than almost anybody else.

00:18:57
No doubt. But he's still improvised but it wasn't the the the incredible plays that he was doing. I just look out for Andy Reed. I think he's going to have some schemes against their rushing. That that was going to be that was going to be my question. You gotta look out for the screen passes. Well I don't know what it's going to be because he always throws in some wrinkles and he's really good at it.

00:19:16
Okay. Um but you know so does Syriani. So I mean you know I think it's going to go on on both both sides. So we talked about this and I want to ask a our resident ex Expert basically on Andy Reed, okay? So, I was thinking about this this past week when. President Hayden. Yeah. Yeah and and and let's move on. Let's move on now to Kansas City's keys to the game.

00:19:37
Yeah. I I want to change up the ticker here so everybody who's joining us can see that. That's what we're talking about but so Chief's keys to the game. I want to ask our resident Andy Reed former fan and expert I I am a couple weeks ago that I that I thought that and it might have been last week it might have been on the Philly show that I thought that it would be very interesting if Reed would take Pacheco Pacheco Pacheco Pacheco Pacheco Pacheco Tomato whatever he is and and and put him in the put him in the slot or or put him out on on the edge and turn him into a wide receiver okay so I have two questions for you and this this is based on your Understanding of Andy Reed, okay? He's innovative.

00:20:27
Mm hmm. He always throws in great wrinkles. Mm hmm. And a lot of times you don't see him coming.

00:20:34
Could you see first play of the game Pacheco as a wide receiver because that guy's like he's like a Tyreek Hill I'm telling you okay and there's no way if I'm seeing that in a lead scene well he likes the third little running backs right but I'm talking about you know he lines him up outside it looks like they're going to go to Kelce and he and it's a long out pass down that he's streaking down the sideline there's a there's a play that would surprise that would surprise you yeah how about a reverse Philly special I think everybody wants to stay away from that yeah you think so I don't know if you think about it they have the perfect setup for this okay Mahomes is injured okay so you know how did that Philly special work did who did he hand the ball off to it was it was snapped to a running back right and gave it to the tight end who threw it to the quarterback right okay snap to Pacheco I don't think Mahomes is rolling out for a catch that's exactly my point who's going to follow Mahomes right right right right well I I I truly I truly believe I I truly believe that Reed is going to have some kind of wrinkle for for two reasons.

00:21:56
One, you gotta get that Philly defense off. You gotta catch them off guard. You gotta start you gotta take them out of that aggressive nature and and and make them either too aggressive or back on their heels. So he's going to come up with with a a couple plays that are just like what? And they're going to work. I think that's going to be one.

00:22:14
I I think it's much simpler than you're making it. I don't know. Uh I think the way that you you know avoid the pass rush is you call bubble screens, you call screen passes, and you know and and you can be creative with your screen passes you know like screens to tight ends and all that kind of stuff. They have a pretty good tight end I think.

00:22:35
They do. They do. So you you know the bottom line is I I think that's that's going to be his plan and then it's going to be up to the Eagles to be able to snuff those out. If they stop that then it's going to be tough. Um but you know but beyond that you know it's also going to be just getting the ball out of his hands quickly you know before the the pass rush can get there and you know if I'm them I mean if I'm them you know basically Kelce is their unstoppable player you know I mean there's nobody the Eagles can put on him that can cover him you know they might try to cover him with two guys and that might not be enough you know so you know I certainly if I see if Andy Reed tries to get cute then I think that's advantage Eagles.

00:23:24
I agree. Because you know what he should do is throw the ball to Kelce 15 times. Yep. Right over the middle. You know for 150 yards and two touchdowns and that gives them probably their best chance to win. Yeah. If he's if he starts saying oh well they're going to be all over Kelcey. I'm going to throw the ball to whoever their receivers are now.

00:23:44
Juju you know Juju. Well you know that's that's good for us no I agree I think Garner brings up some really good points there I think the I think the the Kansas City has to stick with what got them there Kelce over the middle for 25 behind the linebackers in front of the safeties I think I don't even know who the Eagles safeties are I don't think they're that great yeah they're pretty good but I think they one of them was the interception leader yeah CJ Garner Johnson yeah yeah so I mean but still I I think they're I think their cornerbacks are better yeah sure they're they're better at shutting down guys so I would just stick with Kelce and you know they play a lot of three tight end sets so I mean and you don't even have to throw it to Kelce you can throw it to another tight end and and make that happen and they also they do have to slow down the Eagles rush though because the Eagles rush their ability to get to the quarterback has been the best in the league this year and if they do continue doing that and get to Mahomes early I actually think the Eagles can win this by two or three touchdowns well I I I think you're you're you have some conflicting points though because I think if you're going to play to that the the strength of the Kelcey connection which I mean you know Mahomes and Kelce can throw the ball and catch the ball with their eyes closed with each other you play on the agree you allow the Eagles to be aggressive because now Kelcey is running that pattern through the middle of the field and there's nobody there trying to cover him with the safety you know what I mean like it's not going to happen because those linebackers are up the field so I I agree with you that that that is probably yeah but if the linebackers are going back to Kelcey they're not rushing the quarterback and that's the advantage Kansas City well yeah but what I'm saying that's the game I think that's the game that you're going to see play out in the Super Bowl okay when they're going to rush the quarter when they're going to rush the quarterback with their linebacker and what Kansas City does with that open middle section whether it's with Kelce or another running back coming out of the backfield actually think they may need to have more protection back there which means less less passes to the running back right unless who is very fast can get out of there real quick before the rush gets in but that's the game I think right there is the game that we're going to see play out and if and if if the Eagles get to their game before the before the ball can come out and get to the receivers then I I think the Eagles have a really good chance at blowing this game out so what the so the Casey's defense you know do they do they put a spy on Jalen Hertz you have to there's no you have to you have to protect against the run like you would rather have Jaylen Hertz throw the ball but the problem is if you give him too much time then you gotta worry about Devonta Smith going pass your cornerback and catching it so so this is this is why the Eagles are so good because you have to guard against Jaylen Hertz running the ball but you also have to guard against the guy going 60 yards down because he can get it to him so so the question is is which would you rather have you probably rather have Hertz think he can run for 20 yards and he only runs for five.

00:26:54
Right. You see that's that's the thing when when you spy Jalen Hertz it's kind of like a you pick your poison because the bottom line is it's like you spy on him he's not going to get a 25-yard run but he might get a nine yard run right you know what I mean and that sets up third and one right and then they do their sneak play you know right right you know so so it's it's it's tough to defend but you know I honestly don't know what to what to expect it's it's hard to say you never know how teams are going to come out when they've had two weeks off you know it's it's it's really hard to say I just hope it's nothing like I just hope it's nothing like the championship game the Eagles forty-niners because that was that was we don't have to relive it but that was one of the most disappointing playoff games I've ever seen well I tell you what I would love it yeah if if they take out Mahomes in the first quarter it could be that way well and that that that's the point I mean I get it from a from a fans perspective yeah like oh this is like a guaranteed victory but don't you want to play and and like win no you want to win a Super Bowl look you're telling me part of winning is knocking out their quarterback that's part of okay okay so you're telling me as a fan of the game no so you're telling me that the let's let's let's imagine the Eagles win the Super Bowl let's imagine that Mahomes gets knocked out early and they win the Super Bowl 37 to 13 because of that defense right you're telling me that that wouldn't somewhere inside of you as an and not as an Eagles fan as an NFL fan that wouldn't be to use somewhat like well we really didn't beat the Chiefs because we didn't beat Patrick Mahomes no I think the conversation would turn to more towards do we have the best defense of all time yeah we knocked buddy out of the playoffs.

00:28:52
Maybe the most fierce. Yeah. You know, definitely. I I would agree with that. No, I think it does take away from the the fair weather fans who would want to come in and see a good game. Yeah. But. Yeah. No, it doesn't take away from the win as a is a is a fan of. Right. Well, let's do the opposite. What if Kansas City what if Jones gets the Hertz and and Hertz's shoulder.

00:29:15
Slams him on the ground. Right. He busts his shoulder up and and Hertz is out for the game. Right. The Kansas City win. I say the same thing. I mean I I me personally yeah look it's it's a win It's a win. It's a win. And you know oh my delusional mark. Uh so you know a win is a win. I get it.

00:29:36
What I'm saying though is as an NFL fan I like I was totally disappointed in that championship game. Yeah. Because I wanted to see Brock Purdy play and I wanted to see a game. Okay. That's what I wanted to see. Well you did get to see Purdy play. No. I didn't. It just wasn't a Purdy. And and and that was ridiculous. This is just ridiculous.

00:30:00
I I would I I felt chipped in that game. I would feel chipped as a fan in the Super Bowl because it because everybody who would argue and we all know NFL fans get very passionate. People are arguing already. You know like you you somebody's always going to say something you know like the Eagles are the worst 14 and three team ever. You know anybody in the play anybody.

00:30:25
Well see I I don't I don't except except for like you know remember it was like even when they were playing the Giants it's like well they're not ready for this Giants team this is a different Giants team and then at the end it's like oh come on Daniel Jones yeah right yeah right I I agree I I I understand from a from a certain perspective okay let's move on let's move on let's pick the game let's pick the game we'll let Marco last since his since his team is in it so Eve the honors are yours Super Bowl pick man this is a really tough one I'm actually very much looking forward to watching this game I think it's I think it's going to be good and if I think it's going to be good then that means I think it's going to be close Eagles are pretty good in close games but I think if it's going to be a close games I like Mahomes to pull it out at the end I I I I think if it's going to be if it's going to be a close game I like Kansas City it's not a sexy pick in my head I'm thinking Philadelphia's going to win and when I've won this year, I've always gone against what my head is saying.

00:31:32
So, I'm going to go with Kansas City. Alright. Steve's going with KC. Oh, it's going to be close but it's going to be high scoring. So, it's going to be like thirty-four, thirty-three. Oh. So last second field goal maybe. Yeah. Butker. Um I don't know. Wait. No. Touchdown. They need to get a touchdown. Okay. Okay. I don't know. We work that math out but alright. Brad Trombley is giving his pick at 3113 Philly.

00:32:06
He sees a blowout. Um I would and he also thinks you're smoking **** Yeah. I was. How did you know Brad? Yeah we do that before the show. Yeah we do that before the show. Do you have a camera in here? So I do. It's on you right now. So Chris's pick. Um I gotta tell you this is one of the toughest ones to think about for a long time because you really do you really do have the two best teams this year.

00:32:33
We all know Mahomes can create magic out of nothing. Um I'm I am actually going to I'm going to make it really easy. I'm I'm not going to overthink it. I'm going with Philly on this because I'm looking at I'm looking at two things. I'm looking at defense offense okay they both have comparable offenses but Kansas City's defense was one of the worst pass rated defenses in the league they're bad they do have a pretty good defensive line Chris Jones is a is an above average really excellent you said you weren't going to overthink this linemen I'm not I'm explaining my thinking that's not overthinking and I think the Eagles defense even if it comes down to being close I give the edge to defense overall in the game I think I I do think this is going to be a relatively high scoring game I I don't think it's going to be in the 60s but but I'm going to say it's going to be 28 twenty-four Eagles alright Schwabber well I can't pick against the Eagles we already knew that so I'm going to go 3127 Eagles wow it's going to be it's going to be tight it's going to be close it's going to be tight it's going to be tight I I I've had this vision all week what did you say thirty-one yeah I've had this vision all week where the Eagles are winning 31 to20 Mahomes brings brings them back scores a touchdown with like 45 seconds left it's now 3127 and we have to get it have to recover an onside kick which is which is probably the most nerve wrecking play in form yeah it is it is even though it almost always bounces your way when you're a kick when you're not kicking yeah now you can't get a running start you have to start on the line and wait till a kicked.

00:34:37
Yeah. It still only takes one person who's nervous. Uh yeah well Tim Tim Pomato from Palmetto 31twenty8 Eagles. Um same as Steelers Super Bowl ten what was that on sidekick I don't know CD so I think I don't know he's on crack yeah yeah probably Brad I'll tell you what we were going to go I I got a little twist for these guys they didn't know about so we're going to go down there now and and we'll do we'll pick the MVP last okay Steve first touchdown scored by Kansas City who first touchdown scored by Kansas City will be Travis Kelce I'm going on a limb.

00:35:20
Make sense. Okay. Uh I think first TD is going to be Pacheco. Could be Pacheco. Steve. Maybe Mark.

00:35:33
Mark. Mark. First touchdown. Uh. Kansas City. I'll go Kelce. Gotta go with Kelsey. Okay.

00:35:41
Alright. So, longest field goal kicked. That's easy.

00:35:48
Elliot.

00:35:49
52 yards.

00:35:51
Elliot fifty-three.

00:35:57
Mark is saying Elliot.

00:36:02
Fifty-three. Butker. He's not good. DG says Juju's going to be KC's first. Um first TD Eagles Steve. Um Devonta Smith.

00:36:16
Uh I'm going to say Brown.

00:36:19
Damn it. I hope it's not Brown.

00:36:21
Schwabber? I'll go Sanderson. I knew you're in. Sanderson. Okay. Uh how many passing yards for Mahomes? Mahalts 3fifty-two. Threefifty-two. Uh Hertz.

00:36:36
I'm not doing Mahomes also. Uh well okay yeah yeah Hertz. Sorry. Oh Jaylen Hertz. Yeah. Uh passing yards? Yeah yeah. Two seventy-six. Okay. Mahomes swabber. We'll do me last. 3 twenty-five.

00:36:50
Okay. And Hertz. 222.

00:36:54
Nice round figure. Uh I'm going to say Mahomes. Uh is 260. Brad's got Goddard. And Hertz is going to be Hertz is going to be three hundred and forty.

00:37:12
Woo. They're going to win if he does. I'm telling you. Well I picked them to win. You're going with the it's an AJ Brown game. Uh Trombley says Goddard. Everybody catches balls. I look I see I see Syriani throwing it. I see Syriani throwing a twist into this game and pulling out an old Joe Gibbs an old Joe Gibbs trick which is it's the first play of the game. You know they're going to run the ball. Play action. Long pass. Touchdown. You're you're out of the game before. To Devonta Smith. Exactly. That's what I'm saying. No AJ. Okay last last part of this before we move on to 80 yards. It's going to be to Devonta Smith. Who's your MVP Steve? Well I do want to see Gigi Smith choose through but I'm not going to.

00:37:55
Jesus. I really do. But I'm not. I'm going to go with the the the trendy pick.

00:38:01
I want to say Kelcey but I think if Kelce even catches 2 touchdowns they still give it to Mahomes it's always the quarterback it's Mahomes does Juju have a fumble to give us no CD's got a question CD's got a question we'll get here in it to you well do you know it who who had the first score in a Steelers Super Bowl history it was the defense it was a safety there you go baby DG says Jaylen Hertz is going to be the MVP I I'm saying Hertz because obviously if he has 340 yards passing unless he has no touchdowns and Miles Sanders runs for five you know so I I think it's going to be Hertz Schwabber I guess I'll go Jalen Hertz too but I think it's going to be more for his running than his passing I I agree yeah like he might he might run for like eighty-five yards since you say that you think he's going to run for 85 yards yes okay Hertz runs eighty-five Okay, guys.

00:39:01
There you have it. So, Steve's picking the Chiefs34 to 3thirty3. Mark and Chris are picking the Eagles. I'm at 28 twenty-four. You're at thirty-one twenty-seven. We will you know what I'll do? I'll drop a blog post this week with all of our predictions on here. So, you guys can go to The Porches Live. com, The Porches Live. com. Follow us while you're watching the game. Porches Live. com. And you can see that blog post later down the line and Tim Pamato got it right.

00:39:28
Ernie Holmes with the safety.

00:39:30
For the Steelers. I didn't know who did it. My brother says it was Dwight White but who cares? Tony Holmes, the Big E. It was the defense. I knew it was. Your brother's digging into the medicine cabinet anyway. So, okay. So, we talked about the Pro Bowl nonsense. Uh do we want to get into Sean Payton and Frank Wright, the Hires. Yeah, we don't really care. Uh yeah, we can talk about the sand. We can talk we can talk about that in the office.

00:39:54
Okay. Talk about Tom Brady's sand. Yeah. Alright. So, TB TB 12 were Again. Uh Mark do you believe he's actually retired? Um I'm going to say 6040 he is retired. Okay Steve. I do think there's a decent enough chance. 100% retired. Yeah. He's done. Yeah. I agree. 100% retired. He's done. So you guys don't make anything of the fact that he is taking a year off before he starts broadcasting in 20 twenty-four. Yeah. He's going to suck at it so he needs a year off to get better at.

00:40:29
Yeah. There you go. I think he's leaving the door open. Okay. Okay. Now, I think he's I think he's out. I think he's out. Okay. So, another thing that kind of struck the wires this week that we thought was really interesting was you know, that everybody wants sports memorabilia. So, this is in the sports memorabilia category and I would say that that this is actually it's kind of on the fringes of the sports memorabilia category.

00:40:58
The way fringes Is. So apparently well Mark why don't you tell us about the sand? So if unless you've been in a cave for several months. Which I was. Uh yeah. He actually you both were yeah. For this I was. Yeah. Uh Tom Brady made his see the video. He made his retirement announcement from a beach at this beach. He was sitting on sand.

00:41:24
Somebody claims to have a jar of such sand that Tom Brady put his took us upon. And decided to start selling it on eBay. It started out as a let's see if I can get a couple hundred bucks for this. I think it started out at 667 or something like that. Um and from what I've been told. $670. $670. From what I've been told some reports are saying it was last up to about a hundred thousand. I actually heard more recently that it was up to two hundred thousand.

00:41:59
This to me is just insane.

00:42:04
Uh yeah it it it is. Um. Unless unless it does have some of his DNA on. The things you could do with DNA these days. You could make a clone TB 12. I mean getting Tom Brady's DNA for what? Two hundred thousand dollars and then cloning a quarterback for the future. I mean that's be worth like. Listen, the million dollars. That's a good investment. Look. The Mannings already have that down.

00:42:33
They have been cloning themselves for years. It started with Archie and you know, that family. Now. Good point. Of course, we started to wonder about this and and and if you're watching us on social media, you say, you know, the question is, would you pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for sweaty Tom Brady sand and no, I I wouldn't. Even if let me ask you this, even if they did a DNA test and that you could prove it was sweaty Tom Brady sand.

00:43:01
I I would absolutely not partake in such. I would not. Ridiculousness. Okay. However, however, what I want you guys to see here is that there are other artifacts for sale. There are other things that may be worth it and we found one. Um apparently, there there is this is a whole new category. This is Tom Brady's post-retirement toilet paper bliss. The first role he's used since retirement, okay? So, I want you guys to to see this.

00:43:39
Looks like it's only going for 10 grand. 10 grand. Okay so. As Tom Brady retired, he swiftly proceeded to the laboratory. It is believed Thomas Patrick Edward Brady used Charman three ply toilet paper to polish himself off. This is a replica of toilet paper he allegedly used in his first trip to the bathroom since retiring. Ships after payment with signature confirmation upon delivery. So they want to make sure you got you actually received Tom Brady's toilet paper.

00:44:14
What do you think guys? You think it's worth it? Well I have some it's a replica. The replica's never if it was the original toilet paper roll. I I I think it might be worth. I have some sanitary concerns. Oh you do? Yeah. Well I you know my question is do you can you get DNA out of poop? I think you can. Oh out of can you get DNA out of poop? I'm sure you can.

00:44:35
Yeah. But can you get it out of replica Sharman? I don't think you can. Um same with Disney freaks paying for Splash Mountain Water on cling day. Hashtag stupid. The keyword is is believed. I think you mean alleged. Yeah. Or believed right now. I love DG's comment here because it came before we put this up. Yes. He said Brady should have taken a dump to leave them some buried treasure.

00:45:00
Well. What is he? A cat? Hey look.

00:45:04
He didn't have to. We got his toilet paper roll. He got his toilet paper roll. Wow. This show's gone down to **** Yeah it sure has. It sure has. It absolutely. It it absolutely has. So listen guys. Um let's do a quick Hockey Jesus update here. Hockey Jesus just dropped on the podcast yesterday. His mid-season spectacular. A couple trades he thinks the Penguins would pay off for the Penguins even though they may not do them and you did a little preview of February.

00:45:38
I listened to it. I every Hockey Jesus Updates. You have to if you want to know what's going on in the world of the Penguins. Absolutely. So I we don't need you to recap the update button. No because if you want it just go download it and listen to it. That's right. So the Hockey Jesus Preach is on the podcast so go to the Sports Porch on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Spotify, or Google Podcast anywhere you get your podcast and Steve is updating us after every Penguins game but this was a good one because what what I really about it and and DG chimes in.

00:46:11
Thanks DG for the props. He says the show is always great. Thank you. Um what I liked about it was I actually really liked the trades that you came up with and I. Innovative. I love the Mark Andre Flurry Twist. Oh and we'll see you're thrown out there. That's all. Get ready for hockey. Updates.

00:46:29
Yep yes. Oh Swab when are you going to learn to turn your speakers? Your speakers are at the bottom of the iPhone.

00:46:39
See we learned something. Oh well I'm not a technical director. We learned that one of the trades. Three damn years and he finally learns it.

00:46:48
We learned that Mark doesn't know where the speakers are in the iPhone. Nope. No. You know that one of the trades that I talked about includes a former Pittsburgh Penguin goalie. He does. Yep. But you have to you have to go see the whole thing because that's not just it. Yep. And another one involves someone else. Yep yes. Are you going to tell us? No. No. You have to you have to go figure out.

00:47:09
The one thing I can say about February is if you're going to watch and by the way a whole week without hockey is much worse than a whole week with football. Yeah. It's just unbearable. I actually did go and watch some other games like I've watched Carolina play. Dude, that Carolina team is so good. They're amazing. They're playing great right now and the thing about Carolina is they know how to turn it on to win a game.

00:47:36
That's what the Penguins need to figure out and I think they'll do that if they fix their third line problems mover back to the fourth line or fix their goalie problems. If they fix one of those two things I Think they can do it. Right. Um but that's what the podcast midseason spectacular is about and go download it now. Or you can or you can find it on The Porch's Live.

00:47:58
com. It's always up there. So alright guys we'll be back next week after the Super Bowl. We'll check on the Chiefs. You're the only guy with the Chiefs. 00:48:22
Alright.

00:48:26
Believe it or not as horrible as the Indianapolis Colts were this year they beat Kansas City and the Eagles had to beat them like in the last minute on a drive to win 1716 they were terrible this year yeah that just it just goes to show you anything can happen any given Alright, guys.
