Buccos need more patience

The Buccos are in a tough spot right now, with a record of 20-13 and a five game skid at home. The team is pressing, and it's clear that the hitting is to blame. The Pirates scored no runs on only four hits in their most recent game against the Blue Jays, and there were only four walks in the game. The Pirates need to be more patient at the plate if they want to turn things around.

One of the main issues is lead-off batter Bae, who has 14 stolen bases but needs a higher on-base percentage and more patience. McCutchen had the night off, and Suwinski was 0-4 with three strikeouts. The Pirates need to be more disciplined in their approach at the plate and not give in to the pressure of trying to make up for the lack of production from the starting pitching.

The bullpen has been strong, but the starting pitching has been inconsistent. If the Pirates want to get back on track, they need to find a way to get the bats going. The team needs to be more patient and disciplined at the plate, and take advantage of any opportunities that come their way.

The Pirates have a tough matchup tomorrow night against Toronto, with Barrios expected to start. Now is the time for the Pirates to get hot, and the only way to do that is with more patience and discipline. If the Pirates can find a way to be more patient at the plate, they could turn their fortunes around and get back on track.
